In the increasing noise and growing visual nature of communication in our world, auditory processing is being eroded. Listening is neglected.
Do we need to relearn “how to use our ears”?
Yes. Our voice reproduces only what the ear hears.
How we listen, is the key to our success in life. As our auditory processing deteriorates, we continue to lose the art of listening and so lose the skill of understanding other people and hearing what they are actually saying. We lose our connection, our sense of how to relate person to person.
This needs to change.
If we change, we maintain our knowledge of how to be empathetic, interrelated, and basically, good human beings.
